| Baluch Ru Khorsi | A square red-brown flat-woven Baluch cover with a pile-woven border. The field is undecorated, the border embellished with a Turkmen wavy vine. In Iran, the term ""ru khorsi"" (literally: blanket over the table) is used for covers stretched across a coal brazier around which the family gathered on cold days. As ru khorsi quickly wore out with use and were rarely exported, being textiles produced for home use, they are now rare and coveted collector´s items. – Small stains, one darned area, otherwise in very good condition. | |

The brilliant colours and velvety wool make this a first-rate collector´s item. – Full pile preserved, minimally reduced at the bottom, a restored vertical tear. | |
