Shahsavan Lot: 141
Shahsavan Four large Memling güls with octagonal surrounds have been placed on the midnight blue field and interspersed with boxes, hooked diamonds and flowers. The white-ground main border shows a leaf and calyx design. Cut and reselvedged sides, somewhat reduced ends. Minor repairs and slight signs of wear.

Farahan Lot: 142
Farahan An elegant Farahan in zaronim format with a dense design of botehs placed in offset rows on an ivory ground. A very tight weave, with firmly depressed rows of knots on a wool warp and blue cotton wefts. Both ends somewhat reduced, a repaired area in the border at the top right. Otherwise in good condition.

Yomut Main Carpet Lot: 144
Yomut Main Carpet The aubergine field is covered by a dense repeat of large kepse güls in vibrant and diverse colours, while a Turkmen wavy vine adorns the main border. As is often the case in antique main carpets, the pile-woven elems display different designs. Woven in the symmetric knot, the carpet was probably made by the Yomut although its colours and certain stylistic features are reminiscent of Chodor pieces. Original finishes all around, slight damage to the sides. Several creases and minor repairs.

Bakhtiari Lot: 145
Bakhtiari A large Bakhtiari workshop carpet with a three-row repeat of widely branching, flowering trees growing from vases.  Original selvedges, kilim ends preserved, only minimal signs of wear in the pile.

Hamadan Lot: 146
Hamadan A powerful, hexagonal central medallion with attached points and jagged outlines, filled with abstract flowers, occupies the blue field; the red-ground corners are analogous in design. Three narrow borders in brown and white contain a vine of diagonal leaves and star-shaped flowers. Replaced selvedges, good condition.

Bakhtiari Lot: 148
Bakhtiari A small-format Bakhtiari with a chequerboard design of polychrome compartments depicting trees, blossoms, twigs and birds. Bakhtiari compartment carpets occur in all formats as large carpets, long rugs, and also often in dozar format. Extremely beautiful colours. Newly overcast sides, in good overall condition.

Reyhanli Kelim Lot: 149
Reyhanli Kelim A large kilim composed of two panels made in South West Anatolia, with three box shapes decorated with a network of linked flowers enclosing a rectangle containing white and dark blue elibelinde designs. Finely woven in a distinctive palette; the white sections are of cotton yarn. Petsopoulos published another example of this rare group. Good condition.
