| Genje | The design of this Central Caucasian village rug is based on older Star Kazaks. In the white field, two blue stars and two red polygons have been lined up vertically, accompanied by angled bars and serrated forms. Small multi-coloured rectangles and crosses are scattered all over the main design. The yellow-ground border is decorated with a palmette vine drawn in an angular style. The knotting structure and palette suggest that the published examples of this rare type were woven in the Genje region. – Signs of age and wear, restored end finishes. | |

| Manisa Kilim | Made in West Anatolia, this two-panel kilim displays a design composed of five vertical rows of hooked diamonds, hexagons and rectangles decorated with lateral parmakli outlines. Each end has a wide elem of three horizontal bands, with elibelinde motifs in the outer band. A kilim showing a similar design concept in the field and comparable ornamentation, but framed by a border and lacking elem finishes, has been attributed to the area between Manisa and Isparta by Petsopoulos. – Several rewoven sections, good overall condition. | |

| Canakkale | A village rug made in the surroundings of the town of Canakkale, with a white central medallion framed by two massive gables placed in a red field. Known as altin tabak (golden bowl) in Anatolia, the design is also frequently seen in the Ezine region. When weaving was revived in the villages of the Bergama region in the context of the DOBAG development project during the 1980s, weavers liked to draw on this traditional composition. | |

| Yastik | A pile-woven cushion face, its narrow field decorated with three joined diamonds enclosing hooked diamonds. Halved or quartered, red cruciform design are seen at the sides. The field is surrounded by a brown-ground frame showing rare ornaments resembling keyholes. The orange-ground main border is decorated with rosettes. Morehouse has published a comparative piece from the Mendenhall Collection. – Partially replaced selvedges, somewhat reduced ends, minor repairs, low pile. | |

A hexagonal lattice of light red and brown honeycomb-like compartments containing small stylised trees is seen on a camel ground. The repeat has been arranged into steep colour diagonals running from left to right. The white-ground border contains hexagons in the horizontal bands and double diamonds in the vertical bands. – Signs of age and wear, low pile. Both ends reduced. | |
