The interstices are decorated with design bands of sharp purple and yellow points. – Slight signs of wear, several stains. | |

| Salor Chuval | This large chuval displays a Salor design, but deviates in structure, presenting asymmetrical knots open to the right, no depression in the ground weave and a flexible handle. The palette is darker than usual in a Salor piece, and the ground colour of the field is a brown-red, allowing the conclusion that this chuval was woven in a different region than those of the so-called ‘S’ group. – New overcasting along the sides, reduced ends, the back is missing. Obvious signs of wear, low spots in the pile. | |

| Chodor Chuval | At first glance, this rare chuval showing nine primary güls and erre secondary güls, as well as small shrubs placed in offset rows in the elem, appears to be a Yomut piece; however, the palette and knotting structure prove that is was woven by the Chodor. In 1980 it was published in the book on the Hoffmeister Collection as a loan. – Several restored creases, original upper finish, original selvedge on the left, reselvedged on the right, reduced at the bottom. The back is missing. | |
