Luri Bakhtiari Saddle Cover A saddle cover by the Luri Bakhtiari tribes, with serrated leaves in the white field and a red border. This small pentagonal piece was placed on top of the saddle, not underneath like Persian horse covers. – Good condition, leather trimmings all around.

Obruk Prayer Rug Lot: 235
Obruk Prayer Rug A prayer rug from a village in the Obruk region. The light red field shows two trees and four amulet forms. The thin yellow mihrab shape is crested by a double hook, and the field section above is coloured sea green. The wide ochre border contains stepped polygons, the outer border has colourful intertwining `S´ forms. – Upper finish somewhat reduced, remains of the kilim finish survive at the bottom, original flat-woven selvedges. Restored areas, low spots in the pile.

Luri Bag Face Lot: 237
Luri Bag Face A pile-woven Luri bag face with a square field of small, red and grey-green diamonds, framed by a blue-white reciprocal trefoil border and two borders of diagonal stripes. The colour combinations of the field are repeated in a wide outer trefoil border. Plain green closure bands. – Somewhat reduced at the bottom, the back is missing, otherwise in good condition.

Jaff Bag Face Lot: 239
Jaff Bag Face A bag face by the Jaff Kurds with the characteristic, very dense design of hooked diamonds in warm, tasteful colours. A narrow white-ground border containing halved triangles frames the square field; the main border is decorated with small rectangles composed of colour segments. Good condition, the closure band at the top and elem at the bottom have survived, the back is missing.
