Large-format carpets made in the village workshops of the Heriz area were highly popular export products in the early 20th century, and were woven in large numbers in different qualities, designs and colours. The main border contains a spaciously conceived vine design on a red-brown ground. – Signs of age and wear; slight damage to the corners as well as the side and end finishes.
