    A small blue-ground sumakh from Daghestan. The field contains a dense repeat of offset rows of cup palmettes, and the wide four-band border section includes a white central band decorated with ashik güls. The colours are slightly faded. – Slight signs of age and wear, minor repairs, new overcasting along the sides.

    A red-ground sumakh from one of the workshops of the Kuba region. Three diamond medallions with hooked outlines and lateral arms are aligned on the central axis of the field, flanked by an offset arrangement of geometric, stylised flowers and diamonds. The rare border design is drawn on a brown ground. – Signs of age and wear, several holes and darned areas have been secured with backing fabric. Damage to the sides, the ends retain the original warps tied off into nets.

    This Tekke main carpet originally had a field design of four x ten primary güls, however it has been cut horizontally and rejoined along the upper end. The uppermost row of güls has been lost in the process. The lateral outer borders are missing, as are the kilim finishes at both ends. The pile shows slight signs of age and wear.

    This chuval shows sixteen flat primary güls and erre secondary motifs in the brown-red field as well as a rare elem design of geometric stylised trees. Remnants of the kilim finishes are preserved at the top and bottom ends. Low spots in the pile, heavily patinated colours. Missing back.

    A Beshir trapping with a diamond design in a brilliant red field and a narrow green boteh border. – Cut vertically in two places and rejoined, with minor losses in the design; one long, stitched vertical tear. Pile in good condition.
