    A saddle top rug. Two large peony blossoms attached to stems bearing smaller flowers and leaves are arranged in opposite directions in the orange-red field. They are surrounded by a border of wave motifs. – The sides are edged with a red fabric. Good condition.

    In this black-ground khaden, two large stepped polygons and a central stepped diamond are aligned on the central axis of the heavily abrashed field; the corners contain endless knots. – Signs of age and wear, both ends reduced.

    This small square seat cover originally belonged to one of the long bench runners which were woven in Ningxia for Tibetan monasteries. The light brown field contains a large blossom composed of four segments, and quarter sections of analogous blossoms are seen in the corners. The yellow border shows ball flowers in diverse colours. – Both ends repiled, original selvedges.

    Three green disc medallions enclosing stems and five blossoms are aligned in the red field; a number of blossoms and floral sprays have been distributed around them. The green-ground border shows a vine bearing leaves and blossoms and is separated from the field by a pearl border and meander border. – Good condition, original finishes all around.
