    Miniature bags such as this brown-ground example, its field adorned with a large flower and an animal, are called „chanteh“. They served to store personal items, comparable to our wallets or purses. The seams along the sides have been undone, good condition.

    Two large Tabriz poshti (cushion faces) with a Herati field design on a blue field and a red-ground palmette border. Cut sides, new cords, both ends somewhat reduced, otherwise in good condition.
