This Baluch prayer rug of the "head-and-shoulders" type shows three trees of life in a camel field. The central tree, with pairs of branches ending in flowers attached at right angles, is considerably wider than the lateral trees whose trunks bear arrow forms. The box-shaped niche contains a red square decorated with four double hooks, and two large hands are depicted next to the arch. Due to its large-scale designs and composition focusing on essentials, this rare rug stands out as an example of powerful graphic effect. – Slight signs of age and wear, good condition, original finishes all around.
