    The field of this small blue-ground Pao Tao is covered in a filigree diamond lattice without any interior design, its points of intersection accentuated by tiny red diamonds. The border contains twelve cruciform flowers in red and beige. – New selvedges, otherwise well preserved.

    A two-tone Pao Tao sitting rug in dark and mid blue. A dragon medallion at the centre of the field is flanked above and below by a stem with curled leaves; the field ground is decorated with endless knots and meandering lattices in the corners. – Good condition.

    The light brown field is covered in a fine-meshed grid of beige lines which form square compartments enclosing small cruciform flowers. A floral circular medallion and two red blossoms are aligned on the central axis. – Slight signs of age and wear, minor repiled areas, red discolouration.

    A circular medallion composed of blossoms at the centre of the dark blue field is flanked above and below by two floral sprays with a large central peony blossom. An inner reciprocal trefoil border in blue and white; the main border design consists of various flowers, stars and diamonds. – Restored sides, otherwise well preserved, high pile.

    This Pao Tao sitting rug is woven entirely in shades of blue. In the dark blue field, a mirror-image design of two tables, two containers and four flowering vases is arranged around a central disc medallion. Meandering lattices accentuate the corners. – Minimally reduced ends, restored sides, otherwise well preserved.
