    A saddle bottom rug composed of two trapezoid halves woven separately and joined at the centre using a felt fabric. The red-brown fields each contain a pink disc medallion which is completely filled by a crane spreading its wings. It is surrounded by three flowering vases and a large stem with scrolled ends. The salmon border is decorated with cloudbands, vases, scrolls, chessboards, crosses and floral sprays. - Good condition, edged with a red fabric all around, backed with a blue fabric on the reverse.

    This completely preserved throne seat cover consists of a square seat mat and a backrest cover ending in an arch at the top. The ground colour of the field and borders is a light yellow, and the motifs are woven in various shades of red and blue. A circular medallion and a corner lattice featuring dragon’s heads adorn the seat while the backrest is decorated with stems and flowers. - Signs of age and wear, somewhat reduced upper and lower ends, original selvedges.

    A sitting or sleeping rug. A small disc medallion placed on a blue ground is surrounded by Chinese motifs (flowers and writing tablets placed on tables, lidded vases) arranged vertically in mirror image. The meander border is drawn in subtle pastel shades. The inner border of reciprocal trefoils is an unusual feature in Tibetan rugs. – Very good condition, original red fabric edging, backed with a striped fabric.

    A backrest cover for a lama’s throne presenting three dragons in the orange-ground field, Buddhist symbols in the yellow border, a wave design and Mount Meru in the lower finish. – Good condition, high pile, slight damage and repairs along the lower end. Edged with a blue fabric all around.

Against the red-brown ground of the field, a central disc medallion with meandering outlines is surrounded by six flowering vases placed on tables as well as floral corner motifs. The red-brown main border contains a flowering vine. - Very good condition, original red fabric edging, backed with a dark blue fabric.

    A sitting or sleeping rug. A lotus blossom placed at the centre of the yellow field is surrounded by lively concentric stems with curled leaves. Four bats and twigs bearing fruit and lancet leaves adorn the corners. Finest quality. - Very good condition, original side and end finishes, high pile.

    A sitting or sleeping rug. Two large lotus blossoms lie on the black-brown ground, surrounded by six cloudbands and swastikas. The border shows a wave and cloud design. – Slight signs of age and wear, low spots in the pile. Original side finishes and upper finish, minimally reduced at the bottom.

    A sitting or sleeping rug. This peach-coloured khaden of open design features a central circular medallion composed of stems and flowers, with four zoomorphous figures arranged around it. Stems bearing leaves and lotus blossoms adorn the corners. A rather inconspicuous surround of cloud motifs in subtle shades takes the place of the border. – Very good condition, original selvedges, original end finishes.
