    In this brown-ground Karabagh, a repeat of large diamonds is aligned on the central axis, with pairs of shield forms offset against them. Brilliant colours, a narrow, green main border of stars. – The corroded brown ground of the field has been partially repiled in most places, several inserted sections. New overcasting along the sides. Original upper finish, minimally reduced at the bottom.

    This white-ground Shirvan prayer rug with a diamond lattice design and an angular arch is striking on account of its almost square dimensions. – Signs of age and wear, uniformly low pile. Cut sides, replaced selvedges, both ends slightly reduced.

    The field of this long rug is filled with nested hooked diamonds in a composition of offset rows spaced so closely as to cover almost the whole of the blue ground. Drawn in the style of kilim models, the field design derives its character from the pronounced reciprocal effects. – Good condition, original end and side finishes.

    The cochineal field contains offset rows of blue-black hexagons with serrated outlines and a floral interior design. An elongated vine undulates through the equally cochineal main border. – Several restored sections, corroded areas, both ends slightly reduced.

    This long and narrow prayer rug from the Sarakhs region displays a tree-of-life design on a camel ground as well as a box-shaped arch. The field is surrounded by an outer chain of small eight-pointed stars. – Good condition, remnants of the kilim finishes are preserved at both ends.
